Copán is in western Honduras near the Copán Ruins. We serve with a community and partner with the community school. Your trip includes airfare, travel insurance, lodging, meals, in-country transportation, materials for home projects, and interaction with a village in Copán. It is an opportunity to breakdown stereotypes and barriers between our cultural perception and the reality of Central America in their place to find a global community. We also have the privilege of watching a community take care of its own. This is accomplished with recreational activities at the school, supporting local teachers, prepping meals, and long-term investment in education. Lodging is in a hostel with 2-3 to a room in the village of Copán. All are equipped with bathrooms and showers.
The trip begins on Monday with a flight to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and ends with a flight home the following Monday. Registration is first-come, first-served, so be sure to sign up early to reserve space and have a greater chance of being assigned the week you want!
