Camp Jerusalem is in central Honduras and sits near Lake Yojoa on a coffee farm. We serve with 4 Children’s Homes from this location. Your trip includes airfare, travel insurance, lodging, meals, in-country transportation, materials for home projects, and interaction with 2-3 Children’s Homes. It is an opportunity to breakdown stereotypes and barriers between our cultural perception and the reality of Central America in their place to find a global community. This is accomplished through minor home repairs, relationships with Home Directors and children, and long-term investment in education. Lodging is bunk beds in two separate dorm-style areas. Both are equipped with bathrooms and showers. Amenities include soccer fields, basketball courts, and a swimming pool.
The trip begins on Monday with a flight to San Pedro Sula, Honduras, and ends with a flight home the following Monday. Registration is first-come, first-served, so be sure to sign up early to reserve space and have a greater chance of being assigned the week you want!
